Since 1990, I have been involved in Mail Order in several different aspects and levels. I have gone from the Novice to the Amateur, to a Semi-Professional to a Professional.
I was and still am just like Everyone else, I'm looking for ways to make Extra Money at home. Over that time, I have looked at, sent for and received 1000's of Money-Making Opportunities.
In 1997, I decided to Register the Business Name of the "World Of Mail Order". I felt this was a very appropiate name because of the vast number of people, pragrams and products that were involved in the "World" of Mail Order. It was and I believe, still is, an undiscovered "World" to most people.
Through the years, my Company has grown slowly, and can boast of doing Business in over 75 Countries from around the World. For a list of Products & Services, "Click" on the "Catalog" Page at the top.
2001 marks the year that the"World Of Mail Order" entered the computer age with Purchase of my First Computer. This Purchase started me on a Learning curve that has not stopped. It has allowed me to take my Mailing List from Old Fashioned Index Cards to an Electronic Indexing System, with endless choices. It has helped improved my Book-keeping System and helped in keeping track of All of my Customer's Requests. Computers are GREAT!!!
In 2003, the "World Of Mail Order" went from the Pen & Paper way of handling Business, to the Electronic way of handling Business by intergrating the Computer into my Business. What a time saver this has been.
Also in 2003, Tammy Lanthier Joined my Company in the Role as an Administrative Assistant. She has been a Tremedous Help to Me & my Business.
Late in 2004, I added a Scanner to the Business. This piece of Equipment has also been a great time saver. I no longer have to "Cut & Paste" by hand any more. Now, when I receive Ads for the Publication, all that I have do is Scan it, Save it, and Paste it in where I want it. And if I don't like the Particular Ad where I've Pasted it, I can now easily move it without any problems.
During the Spring of 2005, the "World Of Mail Order" produced it's First Issue of the "World Of Mail Order International Penpal & Collector's Club". For "Free" copy, in Canada, please send 2 First Class Stamp to cover Postage & Handling. For ALL other Countries, please send 2 I.R.C.'S to cover Postage & Handling. Thank you.
Also in the Spring of 2005, I Purchased my Second Computer. This enabled us to set-up a Home-based Business Network allowing both Tammy & I on the Computer at the same time. With this in place, we Both can get work done & not have to schedule or take turns on the Computer. I still say Computers are GREAT!!!
